MULTIPLIER EVENT

On January 25, 2024, the “Fake News for Elders” multiplier event took place in Paris at the “Tiers Lieu Faire Liens” associative venue in the 15th district. The event saw participation from seniors, our association members, and professional partners from social and association centers in Paris, including adult educators and social workers. Municipal stakeholders, including the district’s attachee in charge of seniors, were in attendance, along with external partners from Italy.

The event received favorable evaluations from seniors, professionals, and trainers alike. Although the organization of practical workshops posed challenges due to the large number of participants, the activities themselves were well-received and deemed beneficial. The content was positively acknowledged for its scientific rigor and effective presentation. The aesthetic appeal and effective communication of central information by the PR4 boards were also noted. Clarifications swiftly addressed any concerns among some seniors who felt accused of spreading misinformation. Some participants also pointed out that some activities are more adapted to participants with more advanced ICT skills while others are more accessible to everyone. A portion of participants, lacking patience or inclination, opted not to register on our training platform. Professionals expressed a strong desire to utilize resources and social centers for the delivery of boards to them.
